Our hand picked selection of coffee seeds contain over 800 chemical compounds, including acids and sugars that need to be transferred into balanced and harmonious liquid gold through our state of the art cast iron European roasting equipment.
Our discerning and artistic roasters minds and hands guide the green beans through a constants evaluation of colour, sounds, aromas and shapes while tumbling through our marvelous cast iron drum roaster. The cooling tray waits its turn to play its vital and final part in sealing the sweetness and nuances coffee was grown for.

At Zimmah Coffee, we look at each step of the coffee process, from the growing of the cherries to pouring a cup of the best blend, as all being of equal and upmost important. Training as a barista is one of the vital steps that can’t be overlooked, being one of the final and most important piece of the process.
Training with with Zimmah Coffee will give you the experience to be able to transfer all the trouble and effort the coffee farmers and coffee roasters have gone to into a beautiful cup of coffee.
The barista is the last person to handle this beautiful product the whole world cannot live without, without a fully trained barista behind our product representation is lost. Nobody wants to be responsible for misrepresenting a hard work by others, we tailor courses based on previous experience.
Before participating in any advanced barista training all participants must complete barista boot camp which is used as a base assesment and builds a solid foundation for any passionate coffee snob, an amazing coffee journey awaits you.
